My daughter had surgery when she was 9 months old. She required a vaginal opening and that was all. Dr. Schneck with Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh performed her surgery and while the other doctors already recommended are highly skilled, I would recommend my daughter's doctor (I am biased, of course.)

Dr. Schneck met with us several times before the surgery, answered all our questions (even my most stupid ones) without making me feel like an idiot, as well as drew pictures for me when I still didn't understand what he was talking about.

My daughter's surgery lasted just a couple of hours, and we were home the same day. I was very nervous about the surgery, but Dr. Schneck assured me he would stay with our daughter until she woke up, and he did. He came to find me after the surgery, talked with me, drew more pictures about what he did and made me feel very comfortable.

If you want to ask more questions, feel free!

Rebecca
