Hi there. There is a formula for predicting final height. Basically you average the parents heights and for girls subtact 2 inches and for boys add 2 inches (6'3" and 5'3" would be 5'9" minus 2 inches equals 5'7" ). Obviously with CAH there are other issues that may affect final outcome. I don;t know the history of your child or why doctors are telling you that she will be short. Our endo has never told us that just because of cAH that our daughter will be short. But if a child has advanced bone age and precocious puberty or was diagnosed late or had Late onset CAH than that can be why there would be a shortened final outcome of height. Years ago, when CAH patients were way oversuppressed routinely many were short. With better knowledge of meds and allow the 17ohp levels to be higher than they allowed in the past height final height is closer to predicted height. I would ask your doctor about it. Julia
