I would ask the doctor what he means by short. Depending upon how old your daughter is, she may be able to catch up if she's lost height because of CAH. By your husband's height and your height, all things being equal, she shouldn't be short. 5'4" is average for a woman and she should be taller than that. Of course, even without CAH there's a wide variation in how tall people are and how tall they "should" be. For example, I know 2 sisters and one is 6 feet tall and the other is 5'1". But ask your doctor how short he thinks she'll be. If she's going to be under 5 feet maybe he'll prescribe growth hormones.
