My son has CAH, so I am a carrier. I get migraines and sometimes there is no marked headache but a very slight aura and vomiting and fatigue. I suffered for years (from age 12) without even knowing it was a migraine. My parents did not get migraines and thought I was basically just complaining. Going to sleep seemed the only help. When I was in my mid twenties, I read a magazine article and realized that was what had been happening for years. I had never thought of taking a pain reliever since I was not having lots of pain. Once I knew what it was, I was able to take Ibuprofen or naproxen and stop the migraine from 'blooming'.
