For those who have had dd's with surgery - when did you get it done? My dd (18 months old) isn't very severe, so her urologist said she doesn't have to have surgery right away. He said it would be fine to wait a few years. What do you all think, what are your experiences with this? Do they recover fine if they're a bit older, say 4 or 5? Or are we better off getting it done sooner? It's such a scary thing.
