Sherry-Our school was very responsive and not overwhelmed.  The nurse read the brochure then later asked questions when she had them.  As the Cares Foundation link suggests, I gave them basic information, relayed the seriousness of CAH without being overly dramatic about it.  At first when school started, I got a few calls from the nurse, but we always worked them out.  The recess aides knew to look out for my daughter, making sure she had water, and to quickly report any injuries.  Over the years, I had to pick her up at school a handful of times for fever-one time the nurse gave the extra pills by mouth.  We have been lucky so far with her health while at school-and the administration has been helpful.  Hope you have as much cooperation.
