Sherry,

My daughter is in the 5th grade, and I followed the same steps Pamela did when she started school. I wouldn't worry about them being overwhelmed. Most school nurses are well versed about following medical steps, and will take the information in stride and use it if a situation does arise. I would certainly use the CARES Foundation paperwork. It is very well done.

Barbara,

May I ask what area you reside? I love the idea of having a posting for life threatening conditions. I feel very comfortable with my daughter's nurse, principal, and teacher, but I always wonder...what if there is a substitute teacher? Thanks a lot!

God Bless,

Katrina

Katrina
