I have experienced this but not from skipping the prednisone in my case- for me, I believe it's hypoglycemia ...and I feel better after eatting.
Doesn't hurt to get a second opinion with Endos but keep in mind that in a local area that they are a small group and generally know each other. So, stay postive with everything to get the best care.
