Sorry to post this again, I posted it along with my other post about Kindergarden but I don't know if anyone will see it. I hope it's ok if I just repost this again here.
Well I took my daughter to her pediatrition for her physical for Kindergarden. She didn't feel there were any other particulars she needed to add on her form other then my husband and I needed to be immediatley informed if she had a fever greater then 101.5.
I'm kind of not ok with this, since I'd rather have her at home if she's got even a low grade fever. Plus what if she falls and hurts herself? When she was 10 months old she fell from a distance of her own height and fractured her ankle. My husband insists that they will call us immediatley in the even that something like this happens.
I'm just being paranoid I guess. Also on the form that I need to fill out for her registration is says
"Check here if you want to discuss confidential information with the school nurse or other school authority"
I'm not sure if I should check the box or not. I am assuming this means a meeting would be set up to discuss her condition.
Also, there is a space to describe any other health related infomation. I added that she has SWCAH (I wrote it out for them) But I'm not sure what else I need to add.
Last but not least, I'd like to say thank you for all the info you have all posted in response. :)
Oh yes, and what pamphlet did you give to your nurse from Cares? I need to get into contact with Kelly to get those. I'd like to give it to the school at registration.
