This is great! My daughter always loved to play with cars, trucks, and farm equipment when she was younger. It worked out well for us, because her younger brothers are also getting good use of them! : )
I have noticed, now having two young boys, the gender bias in toys works both ways. My husband and father-in-law are great cooks. They really enjoy it, and even do small catering gigs and enter competitions. Therefore, my boys love to be in the kitchen. I looked for a play kitchen for them for Christmas, and all of the really cool kitchens and kitchen accessories were really girly.
We are getting better, but boy do our toys ever have a way to go to catch up with society!
