I am 22 years old male and was born with CAH. I was skinny as a teenager, while i was taking cortisol acetate, but my dr. changed my drug to prednisone about 3 yrs ago to prednisone. I have experienced a weight gain of 40 lbs in those 3 years. I have adjusted my diet and have been trying to excercise as regularly as possible, but i have not lost any weight. I wanted to know if anyone had any feed back on this, my dr. says my weight gain isn't related to my meds, but i am not sure. I just want to know if any has any feedback on this or previous experience. Or if u have any questions for my if u have a young son with CAH and want to know what my experiences were like growing up.
