re: re: Is your reaction to salt different?

Hi ive always loved salty foods- my favourite are double or tripple salted licorice from holland- yum!- I cant get enough of them! I dont know if this has anything to do with it but when my daughter was born(with swcah) our endo said he has seen a couple of studies that suggest that carriers of the gene may exibit some of the same qualities of those with CAH, like being a very 'thirsty' person or liking salty food , both of which describe me. Being pregnant didnt change this, but funnily enough when I was pregnant with my son( he is older and doesnt have CAH) I just knew I was having a boy. When I became pregnant with my daughter I thought she was a boy also and when they told me she was a girl I couldnt believe them and almost asked them to do the tests again. The only thing I can put it down to is that somehow i could sense or detect the testosterone floating around in my system.
