Is it just a 'follow up' or do they actually think she'll probably need it? When i was 10 yrs they told my mum i was meant to have a 'follow up' procedure but we left it until i was 13/14. I went under anaesthetic and the doctors had a look at the previous procedure i had done when i was little. I was lucky though as i wasn't that serious when i had it in the first place and i don't have to have another operation(although i had to use dilators because of the scar tissue.
