It may be past the time now but, didn't they do what they call a "Caudal block"for the pain ? It is sort of like an epdieral when we have babies, but the needle goes in a differen area of the spine. My daughter had this surgery at 7 months old.  (she is 10 now) The first day she looked bad, but was groggy from the medications and didn't seem in pain. The second morning, she was talking to herself in the crib as if nothing happened. She still had the caudal block in. They took it out the second or third day if I can remember and she did great with just tylenol. It was as if nothing happend. Not fussy, just a smiley, happy baby. She should NOT be in any kind of pain. They need to manage it better. I would be demanding, they find a pain management and NOW. Praying for a speedy recovery. YOU get some rest too mom. Give lots of kisses.
Laura
