re: Getting proper diagnosis
Apr. 17th, 2008   6:18pm

I was told when I was diagnosed at age 7 that I had cah, however a common old fashion name for it is adrenal andrnarche. I had many of the same symptoms that you daughter had (minus the adhd symptoms and breast development). I started to go through a male puberty, where not onlt did I grow hair, but I lost my hair and my voice droped, like a boys would. At that time hydorcorizone was the perscribed drug for children.

I should now tell you I am 26 year old woman, who did after all that developed normally. Eventually things will even out, it just takes time.

Hope that helps

Jess
