Sheala,

My dd (18 months, about 20lbs, 30" or so) is just like yours. She didn't grow much at all from 6-10 months old, and her labs were very low (practically non-existent!) and finally, after me asking, our endo lowered her hydro dose from 5mg to 3.75 last August. A few weeks after, she started growing and gaining weight....slowly, but gaining. (her fludro dose had been lowered, too, just before that based on low potassium and low renin - she now takes .1mg at night). She's gained about 3lbs and grown 2.5-3" since then. She may be getting ready to go back up to her original dose soon, but for now, she's doing well.

As a side note - in the back of the CAH book, there is an abstract from a study that says that one of the worst periods for growth for CAH children is from 6-12 months old. Interesting!

Hanni
