Our insurance initally said no to growth hormone, but our endo wrote a letter stressing the imperative timeline we were on-bone age 12.6 at 3, etc. Fight it, In the past I have also called in the insurance commisioner for our state (FL). They were actually a help at the time.
I also had a friend who threatened to sue, her insurance would not pay-but if she quit work and qualified for medicare/caid it would be covered.
