I went to an endocrinologist a while ago because I have a lot of diabetes in my family and my son has CAH (or may be an affected carrier). I asked her to check my 17-0hP. She did and it was in carrier range. If you have a child with CAH then you are almost definitely a carrier. I guess if your levels were fairly high you could have more symptoms than if they were low. Get the test as early as possible in the morning because levels drop later on.
