Ask if they can do a bloodtest (materal) to determine te sex of the baby. I can be done as soon as 7 weeks, so at 8 weeks of pregnancy you'll know whether it's a boy or a girl and you can resp. stop or continu the dex. In case of a girl you will have to have a CVS or amnio. A boy will be tested at birth.
I have a 2,5 year old SWCAH son and a 1 month old girl who doesn't have CAH. The only side effect I noticed from the dex was weight gain.
