The Google geocoder cannot decihopher locations like "northern utah". I'm amazed it's been able to determine geocodes for those who offered cities only, but please, provide the city, state/territory and country. If there's not geocode, the mark will not appear, and if you leave no way of checking, you'll assume you've been counted, when you haven't.
