re: Replacing salt
May. 10th, 2008   1:22pm
My 14 month old daugher has salt-wasting CAH.  I have given her salt since birth, and never in a solution.  She takes 1/4 teaspoon of table salt per day.  I measure it out in the morning and give it to her in her milk and sometimes, sprinkle some on her food.  It has worked out well and her levels have been stable.  Let me know if you have any other questions, I would be happy to communicate more about how to administer the salt.  By the way, I am also in the Chicago area!
Cathy
