re: Vitamin D malabsorbsion
May. 11th, 2008   7:19am

Dear Bonnie,

My guess is these are different things with the same outcome.

I take fosomax for the osteophrosis which could be from long term cortisone use or just heredity as lots of people without CAH get osteophrosis starting the same time I did but becuase if the cortisone we are more aware.

But, this mal absorbsion thing? is different maybe?  and not sure waht is causing this. Call me crazy but I'm interested in the interactions between all the endocrine glands and my guess was the parathyroid. I have a great Endo and I will ask his nurse it be specific. i have Celiac Sprue and that is mal absorbsion as well ....

I think if Vitamin D isn't in UK milk and was causing issues then that population would show in mass medical issues as a result  ..... maybe?

i will find out more and post again
