re: re: re: diagnosing cah w/ ultrasound?

I echo word for word what Wendy Lee said. So go back to her post and re read it again.

With that said, "Congratulations!!!!" How exciting! If anything I think the ultra sound could tip you off for things that MAY come. When we had a regular ultra sound done when I was pregnant with my daughter that has CAH they said to us, "You either have a girl with a really large clitoris or a boy with a really really small penis." Sure wish the technician or the doctor reading this would have saw this as a red light or a suspicious clue, but nope. But that was done in the last trimester. So I am not sure how far the genitals would be effected. Call your endocrinologist and ask. Let us know how your pregnancy unfolds and the beautiful baby that enters this world. When are you due?! Very exciting! God bless and remember, go back and re read what all of these women told you. Happy Mothers day!

Laura
