re: Flying with a SWCAH infant
May. 12th, 2008   2:58pm

Atlanta is lucky enough to have 2 pediatric hospitals, both of which my SWCAH daughter has spent lots of time at. They are:

(1) Children's at Egleston

1405 Clifton Road NE
Atlanta, GA 30322-1062
404-785-6000

(2) Children's at Scottish Rite

1001 Johnson Ferry Road NE
Atlanta, GA 30342-1600
404-785-5252

My daughter sees the pediatric endocrinology group at Emory's Children's Center (their offices are located right next to Egleston). We usually go to Egleston for emergencies and all the docs we've ever seen in the ER have known what CAH is. I believe when the ER has had to pull in an endo they pull whoever is on call from that group (Egleston works hand in hand with Emory on lots of stuff) and all of them are excellent.

Hope that you have a good visit to Atlanta!
