The main benefit, as I see it, will be an instant, visual confirmation that YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!! You can see how many others across the globe share the same worries, troubles, anxieties, confontations, etc. This site gets over 400 unique visitors each day, over 3,000 page views. Can you imagine seeing all those people together? While that's probably not possible, the map would be the easiest way to make that--sort of--possible.
