re: Small for height and weight
May. 12th, 2008   7:00pm

We're a member of the peewee club- daughter (SWCAH) has either been oversuppressed or on target with her hydrocortisone doses based on lab results. She has always been 5-10% for weight and 10-15% for height/length (she just turned 5 and weighed a whopping 31lb at her well check!). Her dose of hydrocortisone has typically been way below the calculated average- her doc kept reducing it based on her lab results.

Typically oversuppression will stunt growth and cause weight gain, but, based on what people keep posting around here, being low on the percentiles on both the length and weight while labs indicate oversuppression is not uncommon.

Good luck with your doctor's visit!
