Our son is 2 years old and has been measuring off the charts low weight-wise for almost a year. He finally got back on the charts at his last appointment but is still only 3rd percentile.

Thing is, my husband and I were both small children. And height wise, our son is about average. His blood tests are fine, he's on target, and he's healthy as a horse.

We won't worry about this as long as he's healthy. He's had plenty of testing to make sure there are no underlying issues.

One thing I did notice is that when he was weighing the most, he had Cushingoid features. He looked like a little Michelin Man. :D I think he was being over-medicated then. We've since switched to the other endo in the practice and have been happy with our son's development.
