re: cortef with tums ok?

I know the Florinef is ok to take together. But not sure if the Tums WITH that is. I always wonder if it blocks any absorbtion of any prescriptions. Sometimes you get that warning on the labels of other prescriptions. Think about it, doesn't Tums coat your stomach? I don't know, I am not a doctor but it sounds like something I would wait on combining. Like when my daughter takes an antibiotic or her vitamin, I always wait until at least an hour after her Coref and Florinef has been given. It is just something I did for fear one would block something from the other. Do you get those information packets with your prescriptions? Maybe it is in that info. Let us know, very interesting.
