Dear Friends,

In this very tough economic market, our donations are way down. We really need all of our members to help us, even though you may feel financially pressed in your own lives. If you can make a donation great, but if not, perhaps you can ask friends and family to help CARES.

You can do this easily by creating a team for our "No Sweat for a Cure" fundraiser. So, far, in one month of our event, only 25 families (beyond board and staff) have set up teams, out of over 2200 member families. Our goal is to raise $150,000, but we can't get there unless more people help us. I hope you will consider this and perhaps get your other family members to make their own teams and raise funds from their friends and business colleagues, too. The "No Sweat" will help fund the NIH grant. Many of you have had the benefit of visiting the NIH under our supported program. This program cannot continue unless everyone helps CARES to raise the needed funding. In these very tough economic times, we need everyone to help!
