Pisces Volans wasn't the name of a device.
It's a constellation of the southern hemisphere, the flying fish.
To post here, it asks you to fill in the "Name:" blank with something.

epi-pen is a brand name for a syringe filled with epinephrine.
I guess "auto-injector" is the general term. The military uses
them a lot for field medicine, from what information I can find.

I'll have to find somewhere else to ask. Nobody knows.
