I'll try to make this short and not long winded Basically my husband has CAH or a form of it since I don't really understand it. When he was younger he was on 2 meds and now he is just on predisone(sp). He had a different/difficult upbringing lived with his mom then his dad and step mom . Step mom has told me alot about his condition but I dont' feel totally comfortable asking her everything. We have been married 3 years. About a week after we got married I went with him to his dr so I could hear everything and put my mind at ease. He had been off his meds for a while (3 years ) no insurrance a really bad time in his life and so on. HIs dr was extremely suprised to know that he was off his meds and alive. Said that perhaps his body was doing something now that it wasn't doing when he was younger.? Last year he went for his phyiscal by himself. He is getting ready for his annual physical soon but I am still filled with questions. "how dangerous is his conditon" " do you think we will be able to have children" "should we have children" Iknow I can ask his dr but just needed to get it out there .
