Is anyone presently on prednisone? My grandson's doc just put him on prednisone after determining that he has reached his growth height (5'10") based on his most recent bone age xrays. He's 15 and has been on hydrocortisol since he was born.Predisone has such horrible side-effects in some people's health, but am hoping that this doc wouldn't change meds unless it was warranted. He said he doesn't need hydrocortisol anymore since he's stopped growning. Has anyone ever heard of a teenager being put on prednisone? Thanks for your answer.
