I just put the pill in the syringe, put the plunger thing in, suck up the water and the pill disolves within a few minutes. I put my finger over the hole and shake it whenever I'm going to give them to make sure it's mixed up good. Sometimes I make them for 2-3 days, sometimes just make them as I go...I just lay them flat on my counter, I don't think they need to be refrigerated. It's kind of a pain to wash the syringes all of the time, but it's so nice not to have to worry about splitting pills and such.
