I looked through the archives briefly concerning depression & CAH. I have had bouts with depression & anxiety for as long as I can remember. Sometimes its not too bad. Others are alot worse. I have spoken to my doctors about it and they all want to put me on pills for depression. I took Zoloft which made things alot worse then I took Cymbalta and felt wonderful! I was the happiest person alive until I tried to stop taking it. My endo tells me depression and anxiety are not related to CAH so they keep giving me pills. My doctor asked me if I thought about suicide, I told her the truth and she had me filling out paper work for the next hour trying to send me to a therapist.
So is this something that is expected with having CAH or could my levels be off? Can this be fixed with adjusting my regular meds or should I just go ahead and keep trying other antidepressants?
