It makes perfect sense that CAH could affect mood due to the hormone changes. The best approach is to treat the depression as well as consult your endo for lab testing to monitor hormone levels. But definitely treat both--if Cymbalta helps then stay on it. Since you feel worse when you stop it, don't stop it. I have learned through my own struggles with severe depression that sometimes there is no recognizable or clinically-evident cause, even so you have to treat Depression just as aggressively as you do any other illness or it will take over. Also, those of us who face chronic illness daily are at much higher risk for depressive illness.
