I think I was 17 or 18 when I started taking Prednisone. I'am almost 53yrs old I take 3.5 mg of pred. daily and .1mg of florinef at night. At one time I was on 7.5mg 6mg 5mg 4mg all doses that where to high for me. Remember that our lab results do not need to be in the range of someone without CAH they can be higher, as long as the patient is presenting clinically well.
