this has happened many many times with my daughter. i check her blood sugars all the time now at home. my doctors says its part of adrenal crises. everytime she had this problem there was always something going on with her some kind of illness. we have changed her meds and she has gone 7 months with no sickness which i have not seen this in a long time its great. my daughter was taking to much florinef which her endo will not admit it but her high blood pressure doctor changed her meds since her endo would not. my daughter spent a week in icu because her blood pressure was so high and when i went back to look at her records she had high blood pressure for a long time and all the other doctors ignored it. her surgeon is the one who caught it and the worst thing is we seen her endo the day before and they put in her record she was crying which was not the truth. by the way my daughter will be 3 in july and for the past year she has been hospilized at least 6 times for adrenal crisis which starts with the low blood sugar then vomiting and then electrolytes will be off. now when i take her to the hospital and i tell them her blood sugar is 20 they hook her up right away then do labs so she never gets as sick.
