I know I'm doing the equivalent of asking a doctor at a party to look at a mole... but

Does what you're saying apply to boys as well as girls?  I'm wondering if my son can be oversuppressed even though he doesn't have any symptoms of oversuppression - he's very slim.  But he hasn't been growing terribly well.  He's 13 1/2 and seems to be losing ground by the day.  He started off at 60th percentile and now he's one of  the shortest kid in his grade.  About 5'1".  I think we're waiting for the growth spurt to start, but I'm wondering if he's been oversurpressed and will never regain the height even though his bone age is good - a little below 13.

I'd appreciate your opinion.  I know people have much worse problems than being short but we parents try to do our best for our kids!

Thanks in advance...
