re: re: child not walking- any Advice?? Jun. 18th, 2008 10:18am
KP,
Thank you for the information - I have never heard of some of that before. My endo says that if my daughter is oversuppressed she will gain weight, but she has been very slow to add height or weight. She is about the size of Michelle's daughter, actually, at 14 months. She is also not walking, has the wobbly legs, and I was wondering if it has anything to do with her CAH. I mentioned to her Dr. last month that I thought she might be oversuppressed - she didn't think so, but called me back with the lab results and said yes, she was after all. Can these toddlers catch up after this? I often wonder how much of her growth has been lost with all of this medication. She is so small. I don't know if the endos can do labs every month - they are so busy and it's hard to get in as it is. I guess I'm starting to ramble but it's just so frustrating sometimes, isn't it?
