While I have ncah, my little sister has cp and does not. Cerebral Palsy is a neurological disorder usually caused by lack of oxygen to the brain during birth or shortley after birth. My sisters birth was very difficult and then she had 3 seizures before she was 3 days old, which caused the lack of oxygen to her brain. I knew something was wrong when I was playing with her (I am 19 years older than her and was studing early childhood education and working with speacial needs children) and she couldn't grasp a toy at 5 months. My older stepsister who was studying to be a nurse also noticed that she was not reaching the normal milestones for her age group, and between the 2 of us we said she had cp and my parents took her to a doctor and ran some neurloogical/motor tests which led to a diagnosis of cp.
She is doing well and has had occupational and physical therapy and speech services since before she was 2. Early intervention is key. I would talk to your pediatrician who can better help evaluate.
CAH is congential and hereditary, cp is not so they are not related. And also, just to let you know that I work with people with disabilities and that is how I know about cp.
