When my daughter was younger everyone used to say she had a "husky" voice.  Her endo said back then it was probably from the period of time she was not treated and had excess testosterone in her body which would affect her voice.  Now that she has been treated for 17 years, her voice just sounds normal, not "husky" like before.  Maybe your child's meds need adjusting.
