your post about feeding your earrings to your dog made me chuckle. I can totally see my daughter doing that :-) hence, why she does not have her ears pierced and may not for quite awhile--unless she wants to. She's much to wriggly as a 2 year old to have to fight with to keep the area clean. Plus, she likes to put french fries in her ears so I imagine earrings would be a bad idea :-)
