our daughter who is 5 now has swcah. i can so relate to you. it was our 1st child and what a shock to learn something was wrong. to comfort you she is soooooooo amazing and strong. she is special and is defintely my hero. she loves life and lives it to the fullest! she did have surgery at a year old. it went great, she was crawling around the afternoon after the operation! i don't make a big deal of that now, kids defintely take direction and reaction from the way we as parents handle things. we moved on, what matters is she is healthy, happy and loved.
