surgery----how effective is it
Jun. 22nd, 2008   3:07pm

i am the mom of a baby girl with swcah.

she is only a baby but we are looking to have surgery done when she is 1.

i was hoping if someone could give me some advice on thier experiences regarding surgery.

does te corrective surgery make everything look normal and function normally or is it purely cosmetic.......will the surgery leave scars.....will it look different.

i suppose what im really asking is will my baby know that she looks different as she gets older...something as a parent i really dont want. or will the surgery look natural as things should be if she did not have cah.

if things dont look normal how do we as parents deal with this.

please help .....a very concerned parent

hannah
