My daughter had her surgery at 4 months of age ... vaginoplasty and clitoral reduction. We did a lot of research and chose a surgeon at the Children's Hospital in Phildelphia. We were totally confident with him. You must choose a surgeon with lots of experience in this particular type of surgery. She went through puberty normally at age 12 ... useed tampons successfully from day one .... and is now almost 17 years old. Had her 1st gyn exam this week and she is great ... no additional surgery needed, no dialation needed ... just perfect. looks totally normal! We are truly blessed and I wish for the best for you too. This really is a story with a totally happy ending. It can happen. Good luck!
