I have carried the injection kit and a letter from the endo for 11 years now - traveling in the US and abroad several times a year. Not once has any security person even looked at the kit. I keep it in a eyeglasses container and it goes through xray in my bag. I keep waiting for the day that someone will ask me about it but not yet.
