Thank you for replying. I agree and have already started to increase his caloric intake. The nutritionist recommended 1300 calories and I'm not positive he was coming close to that, so that could be a part of the weight loss too. I also believe the prednisolone is the main culprit but he needs it for the 17 OHP. Again thanks, I have at least a week or two before the Dr. insists he needs to be hospitalized and "observed"....monitored like a science experiment by a team of professionals whom I am not certain even know what they are doing!!!
