Traveling to have Dr. Rink to surgery Jun. 26th, 2008 8:58am
We are now considering traveling from Minnesota to Indianapolis to have Dr. Rink do our daughter's (9 months old) surgery. We are just looking for any feedback that anyone has that has taken this trip. As well we are beginning the process of working with our insurance company to see if they will make an exception (as of now they would only pay 50% for out of network). What was your experience with Dr. Rink - pleased with the results? Were you able to get your insurance company to make an exception and provide in network payment? Did you have the child's grandparents or anyone else make the trip with you? Was that helpful - would you recommend one way or the other? Any othere recommendations regarding traveling to have Dr. Rink do the surgery?
