Really don't worry about the CAH factor when piercing her ears. Really. It is like two seconds they pierce them. Do they use those piercing "guns" they do in the U.S. ?T hey just put the earring in and press. When I saw this place pierce twin babies, they had two people pierce each ear at the same time. So they didn't have to do one, have her scream about it, then have to do it again. So suggest that. Don't worry about it, and just stress dose a bit. This will give you peace of mind, and help her through it if it hurts her. Think of immunization shots. They don't like them, they hurt, but they get over them very quickly. And did you read my post about the numbing cream? Do you have that where you live? It is this EXCELLENT numbing cream we use for blood draws. We apply it to remove bee stings, slivers, and my brother even used it to have a tattoo applied! (We teased him about that though). It is called "lidocaine". It comes in different names, but the cream has lidocaine in it. Ask your doctor. You just would need a pinch of it. Honestly, I think she will do fine. I understand your tradition. You are not the only one that has a tradition such as this. Some others have posted their concerns too and added they did it because of their traditions too. Peace to you. I am sure she will look so adorable!
