Both you and your husband must be  carriers of the CAH gene to have a child with CAH.  Since neither of you has CAH, you are only carriers meaning that each of you carries an affected gene (CAH) and a non-affected gene.  This being the case, there is a 1 in 4 chance of you having a child with CAH with each pregnancy.  There is a 1 in 4 chance of you having a child who does not have CAH and is not even a carrier.  There is a 2 in 4 chance of having a child who is a carrier of the affected gene - just like you and your husband.  Having CAH  is not the end of the world.  It is treatable and your child can grow up just like any other child.  As I used to tell my daughter when she was a little girl, there are lots of  people who aren't lucky enough to have something treatable.  Good luck to you all and God bless your family.
